๐Ÿ’ก How to follow: Do this 4-step foot routine to build arch strength and a stable base for every squat. Each hold should be comfortable and controlled โ€” rest as needed between steps. Repeat 3x/week.

Toe Splay Expansion

Toe Splay Expansion

Spread your toes wide across the ground and press the ball of each toe down. This wakes up the transverse arch by building grip through the forefoot.

  1. Spread all 5 toes wide
  2. Press each toe into the floor
  3. Hold the spread for 20โ€“30s
2

Short Foot Arch Lift

Short Foot Arch Lift

Pull the ball of the foot back toward the heel to raise the arch โ€” without lifting the toes off the ground. This builds the longitudinal arch and is the base of every good squat setup.

  1. Ball of foot pull-back, toes stay down
  2. Arch domes up
  3. Hold 20s, repeat both feet
3

Single-Leg Tripod Balance

Single-Leg Tripod Balance

Balancing on one foot with weight spread across the outer heel, ball of big toe, and small toes โ€” the tripod โ€” builds single-leg foot strength and ankle control.

  1. Stand on one foot, tripod contact
  2. Knee slightly soft
  3. Hold 20โ€“30s, switch legs
4

Barefoot Calf Raise Toe Press

Barefoot Calf Raise Toe Press

Barefoot calf raise driving through the toes to finish, training lower-leg vertical power and foot-arch engagement at once. Comes back to the arch work you built in steps 1โ€“2.

  1. Rise onto toes through the forefoot
  2. Stay tall, press through big toe
  3. Lower slow, 10โ€“12 reps
